Checking the presence of teeth on an excavator bucket
Description of the task
Installation of a video camera on the excavator boom and a continuous monitoring system in the excavator operator’s cabin to monitor the work area and the integrity of the bucket.
The system allows:
monitor excavator bucket tooth loss and instantly notify the excavator operator about tooth loss
prevent teeth from getting into the rock sent to the plant
display an image of the rock sampling site on a tablet in the excavator operator’s cabin to simplify work and visually monitor the presence of ore-contaminating elements
The system analyzed more than 300 km. core The model is trained to work with rocks that contain: gold, copper, nickel, iron, phosphorus (in operation), coal.
Results achieved:
reduction of downtime of the crushing complex by minimizing the impact of the bucket tooth in the ore
estimated effect ~ 270 thousand $
